Research shows that one of the best ways to keep your pet healthy and well is a ready supply of fresh water to drink.  Many pets like drinking from the water tap as they like the free flowing water,  the Drinkwell Pet water fountain encourages them to drink more water, due to its 5-inch falling stream of water.  The falling water continually aerates the water with oxygen.  A charcoal filter helps to remove bad tastes, odours and food particles.

The Drinkwell Pet Water Fountain runs on mains electricity 220v, the unit comes fitted with a standard 3 pin plug.

The fountain holds about 1.5 or 2.25 pints.  Additional capacity reservoirs add a further 1.5 or 2 litres.

The basic unit should be ok for up to 2/3 cats or a small dog.  If you have more than 2/3 cats or a small dog you should use the additional capacity reservoir to avoid the water running low and damaging the motor.
